What is the best play in Detroit Lions history? You be the judge

PHOENIX — The NFL is doing something darn near impossible in conjunction with its 100th season this year: Trying to identify the best play in league history.

There’s no right answer to that question, of course, but as part of the exercise, the league is asking the fans of every team to vote on the top four plays in franchise history.

Pete Abitante, NFL vice president of special projects, said each team’s best play will then be put into a March Madness-style bracket where the plays will be whittled down to one, by fan vote, to be announced the night before Super Bowl LIV next February.
