On Friday, I asked Detroit Lions to temper their expectations. We all tend to get excited over the exciting possibilities when a new coach comes to town, but there are no guarantees in the NFL, and even with a guy like Darrell Bevell—who has a fairly impressive resume—there’s a good chance things don’t work out. That’s just how the NFL works.
But it’s the weekend. It’s time to throw caution into the wind and live it up. Let’s dream our wildest dreams, because there’s literally no harm in it.
