What is the NFL draft?
The NFL draft, also known as the league's annual player selection meetings, provides each of the 32 teams with an opportunity to add players from the previous year's college ranks. Each of the 32 teams is given at least one pick in all seven rounds, though teams can trade picks this year and in future years, and the order of selection is determined by each team's record, from worst to the Super Bowl winner.
