Why would anyone believe in an NFL team that is entering its third year under an unproven head coach coming off a down season?
Seriously. Why would anyone have any faith in what Kyle Shanahan could do in 2019 with the San Francisco 49ers?
And yet this is where Detroit Lions fans might want to draw some parallels, between what Shanahan and the Niners did on their way to playing in Super Bowl 54 and what Matt Patricia might be able to do this season.
