Washington losing 'Redskins' nickname isn't cancel culture. It's acknowledging cultural fraud

Levi Rickert celebrated Monday. And if he’d had time, he’d have thrown a retirement party. The Washington Redskins’ nickname and logo has finally been retired.

Or, as Rickert called it: “The R-word.”

“That’s how we refer to it,” Rickert said Monday. “It’s a racial slur.”
