It’s draft season if you’re a Detroit Lions fan. There’s little reason to hope for something magical to come of the remainder of the Lions’ season—unless you’re Mike Payton and you’re still thinking about how the Lions can end up in the playoffs. As for the rest of us, it’s all about trying to see the bright spots on the team. On Sunday, the brightest of spots came from a much-needed big-man touchdown, as Taylor Decker strolled into the end zone following an easy pitch and catch from quarterback Matthew Stafford. The most important part of that play came in the aftermath.
