TWENTYMAN: A look at the Lions' 24 free agents

UNRESTRICTED FREE AGENTS (17)

Isa Abdul-Quddus

Position: Safety

2015 salary: $1.2 million base, $300 signing bonus

2015 stats: 57 tackles, 1.0 sack, one forced fumble

Outlook: The Lions defense was better when Abdul-Quddus took over starting duties at strong safety the second half of the season. He has terrific speed and can cover, but also showed that he can bring the hammer and be a steady tackler. At only 26 years old, the Lions should look to re-sign him this offseason.

Crezdon Butler

Position: Cornerback

2015 salary: $745,000 (Lions responsible for $350,588)

2015 stats: Three tackles, one pass defended

Outlook: Butler played a reserve role for the Lions, but had probably the biggest defensive play of the season in Green Bay Week 10 when he knocked that two-point conversion attempt out of the hands of Devante Adams late.
