ALLEN PARK, Mich. - Detroit Lions coach Matt Patricia said trading receiver Golden Tate was a "difficult" decision, but one that the franchise made because they believed it was the "best logical decision" to make.
Tate, the team's leading receiver in both catches (44) and yards (517) this season, was dealt to Philadelphia for a 2019 third-round pick. The 30-year-old receiver is in the final year of his contract.
