Some thoughts on April’s NFL draft from the people whose decisions will shape the first seven picks, and in turn, the Detroit Lions’ future:

With two months to go until the draft, the Cincinnati Bengals still appear poised to take LSU quarterback Joe Burrow No. 1 overall. He didn’t offer the most enthusiastic response at his NFL combine media session Tuesday, when he was asked about playing for the Bengals, but he indicated he won’t pull a John Elway-like power play.
