Week 9 was rough for the Detroit Lions. They lost a rivalry game at home, falling to the Minnesota Vikings 27-24. However, Detroit is still 5-3, and has the opportunity to get even better at the NFL trade deadline. With trades being permitted until Tuesday, November 4, at 4 pm ET, the league could get real chaotic up until that point.
The Lions, who are a good team with a few weaknesses to address, should certainly have their eyes on a few players ahead of the deadline. Unfortunately for Detroit, one player that it was likely targeting is probably no longer available.
