The Detroit Lions' NFC North division title odds took a massive hit on Thanksgiving, as the good guys fell to the Green Bay Packers at home, dropping them to 7-5 on the year and 0-2 against the Packers in 2025. It wasn't a good day for the Lions but it wasn't all doom and gloom.
On 3rd-and-4 on the Packers' 10-yard line with Detroit trailing by 10 points in the fourth quarter, Jared Goff did something that Tom Brady, who was up in the booth calling the game on FOX, said he'd never do. Some might hear that context and think that Brady was insulting Goff but no, he was commending the quarterback for making a throw that Brady said he wouldn't have had the cajones to pull off.
