A fan favorite, Joseph Fauria, has been cut by the Detroit Lions.
As many saw coming, the Detroit Lions have made the decision to let Joe Fauria go. Brought on during the Jim Schwartz era, he gained popularity early on for his touchdown dances. He was a great red-zone threat, standing 6-foot-7.
In his rookie year, he caught 7 touchdown passes. But, once Jim Caldwell took over in 2014, and Fauria suffered from injury for a large portion of the season, his production was decreased.
He never was quite the same after the injury in camp.
