Report: Taylor Decker signs 6-year, $85 million deal with Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions have extended one key member of their offensive line on Tuedsay. According to his agency, left tackle Taylor Decker has signed a six-year deal worth $85 million with $37.5 million guaranteed. The average per year of $14.2 million places him just inside the top 10 of all NFL tackles, between the FalconsJake Matthews ($14.5M) and BrownsJack Conklin ($14M).

Decker was drafted by the Lions in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. In his four years with the Lions, Decker has started in 55 of 64 possible games, missing eight games in 2017 due to torn labrum.
