The coaching news is coming in fast and furious on Tuesday evening. Just after reports surfaced that Detroit Lions quarterbacks coach George Godsey will not return and, instead, will join the Miami Dolphins staff, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport has the scoop on his replacement.
According to Rapoport, the Lions will be hiring Texans quarterback coach Sean Ryan. Ryan has been coaching in the NFL for the past 12 years now. Here’s a look at his journey in the big leagues.
