The Detroit Lions have yet another candidate for their vacant general manager job. According to both Ian Rapoport and ESPN’s Lindsey Thiry, the Lions are expected to interview current Rams director of college scouting Brad Holmes.
Holmes has spent his entire 18-year NFL career within the Rams organization. He first started there in public relations, but quickly moved over to the scouting side of the business. There he spent 15 years scouting, eventually becoming the director of college scouting in 2013.
Since 2013, Holmes has been partially responsible for seeing the Rams turn from a mediocre 7-9 team to the perennial playoff team they have been under head coach Sean McVay.
