According to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press, the Detroit Lions are re-signing wide receiver Chris Lacy. The transaction wasn’t on Wednesday’s official transaction wire and has yet to be confirmed by the team.
Lacy was waived 10 days ago as the Lions cut their roster down to the necessary 80 players before padded practices began. He, along with Travis Fulgham, Josh Garnett, Christian Sam and Jonathan Wynn were the final five that Detroit decided to move on from.
However, it appears the Lions had a change of heart with Lacy after their first couple days of padded practice this week.
