Report: Detroit Lions hiring Ray Agnew as assistant GM

The Detroit Lions apparently aren’t done adding more talent to their front office. After hiring Brad Holmes as the team’s next general manager and reportedly adding former NFL GM John Dorsey in an unspecified role, Detroit will apparently be adding an assistant general manager as well.

Per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Rams director of pro personnel Ray Agnew is being hired as the Lions’ next assistant general manager.

Agnew is a former NFL player, having been drafted by the Patriots in the first round of the 1990 draft. He enjoyed an 11-year career with the Patriots, Giants and Rams.
