Report: Damon Harrison has approached Detroit Lions about long-term extension

The Detroit Lions got Damon Harrison Sr. for a heck of a deal. It only cost them a fifth-round pick to grab him from the New York Giants midway through the 2018 season. With two more seasons remaining on his deal—and only at cap hits of $7 and $9.25 million—it seemed like a deal way too good to be true.

Well, it turns out it may end up costing the Detroit Lions a little more. According to MLive’s Kyle Meinke, Harrison has already approached the Lions about a long-term extension in Detroit.
