GREEN BAY, Wis. — Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers left the first half of Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions to checked for a possible concussion.
Rodgers went to the locker room late in the first half to be evaluated for a brain injury. The Lions led, 7-0, at the time, and have since added two touchdowns.
Fox reported in the fourth quarter of the game that Rodgers did indeed have a concussion.
DeShone Kizer played the entire second quarter at quarterback for the Packers, completing 5 of 12 passes for 44 yards.
The Lions (5-10) already are assured of a last-place finish in the NFC North, but have draft positioning on the line today.
