On Tuesday, the Detroit Lions have announced they’re joining forces with the Michigan Secretary of State in a series of efforts to encourage civic engagement and voter participation.
Collaborating with Michigan SOS Jocelyn Benson and Detroit City Clerk Janice Winfrey, the team will be involved with the upcoming election in a number of ways, including:
- Lions staff serving as election workers to help with Ford Field’s Election Day operations
- Ford Field will be a site where election workers can deliver ballots and voting equipment after precincts close on Election Day so they can be secured.
