After their best season since Dan Campbell and Brad Holmes came to town, the Detroit Lions continue to gain recognition—this time from PFF.
PFF released their 2023 End of Season Awards, and Penei Sewell was recognized as the NFL’s best offensive lineman, as well as the best run blocking offensive lineman in the league.
“I think he takes a lot of pride in being out there every snap,” Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson said of Sewell. “Both during the game, obviously, but also in practice. He’s the same way. He doesn’t want to miss reps in practice either.
