Notes: Lions CB Darryl Roberts earns PFF ‘standout performance’ of Week 1

The Detroit Lions were in a bit of a desperate situation at the end of their Week 1 game against the Chicago Bears. With Jeff Okudah already scratched from the lineup, the Lions were thin at cornerback and only got thinner as the game went on. First, nickel cornerback Justin Coleman went down with a hamstring injury. Shortly thereafter, No. 1 corner Desmond Trufant also limped off the field.

Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky responded by throwing three fourth-quarter touchdowns en route to a 27-24 comeback victory over the Lions.
