NOTEBOOK: Devin Taylor getting reps at defensive tackle

Devin Taylor, like fellow defensive end Jason Jones, has some versatility to his game. Jones, who’s been heralded by defensive coordinator Teryl Austin for his ability to play both outside on the edge and inside at defensive tackle, stands 6-foot-5 and weighs 275 pounds.

On a number of occasions this summer, Taylor has moved inside and played some defensive tackle as well. The third-year pro out of South Carolina, who stands 6-foot-7 and also weighs 275 pounds, got some quality first-team reps inside during Wednesday’s minicamp practice.
