With most states in the midst of stay-at-home mandatesbecause of the coronavirus pandemic, the NFL is planning for a virtual offseason program this spring.

The league and its players association announced the agreement Monday on an offseason program that will allow teams to provide online classroom and virtual workout instruction to players.

Teams are free to manage their own programs, but no team can begin in-person workouts until all club facilities are allowed to re-open, for competitive balance reasons.
