New Lions select numbers

Lions general manager Bob Quinn filled a number of holes in the veteran free agent market this offseason.

He revamped his linebacking corps to add more size with the signings of Devon Kennard, Christian Jones and Jonathan Freeny.

Quinn also added a veteran to the running back room (LeGarrette Blount), and improved the depth at tight end (Luke Willson & Levine Toilolo) and along the interior of Detroit’s offensive line (Kenny Wiggins and Wesley Johnson).

After Haloti Ngata decided to sign with Philadelphia in free agency, Quinn filled that hole with the signing of Sylvester Williams.
