New Lions QB Chase Daniel remembers: 'I really like playing at Ford Field'

The journeyman backup quarterback's next stop is Detroit, after he agreed to a reported three-year, $13.05 contract with the Detroit Lions on Tuesday.

Daniel, 33, went 1-2 as a starter with the Chicago Bears the past two seasons, beating the Lions on Thanksgiving Day in 2018 for his only victory. He threw for 230 yards and two touchdowns, completing 73% of his passes in that game.

"Words can’t describe how incredibly grateful my family is for our time in Chicago. We loved the city with all our hearts but it’s time for a new adventure in Detroit!
