It’s a woeful time in Detroit sports right now. The Detroit Pistons are clinging to unlikely playoff hopes, and even if they were to somehow rebound (get it? Basketball.), they’d likely get bounced (I should write about this sport) in the first round.
The Detroit Red Wings have already seen their playoff chances been put on ice. And the Detroit Tigers have built themselves a hole that they need to be dug out of.
What I’m trying to say is that with Detroit Lions football still so very far away, exciting moments in Michigan sports are few and far between this spring/summer.
