MIAMI — Mitchell Trubisky has been an average at best quarterback for most of his NFL career — except when he plays the Detroit Lions.

Trubisky is 3-0 as a starter against the Lions the last two seasons, and he's put up far superior statistics against the Lions than he has against other teams.

This year, he threw for 511 yards and six touchdowns with one interception in two November wins against the Lions.
