ALLEN PARK, Mich. – Matthew Stafford got married last offseason. This year, the Detroit Lions quarterback found other ways to keep himself busy.
He spent two weeks touring around Italy with his wife, Kelly, as a vacation – the other side of the world from the couple’s honeymoon in New Zealand last year.
“I really enjoyed Italy,” Stafford said. “It was a lot of fun. Traveled all around in there so it was fun.”
Stafford, who stays off almost all types of social media, joked that if people want to follow his traveling exploits all they need to do is follow his wife on Instagram, where she posts often.
