Matthew Stafford, wife, Kelly, donating meals to hospital workers fighting COVID-19

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford and his wife, Kelly, are doing their part help local first responders during the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Kelly Stafford said in an Instagram story this morning that the family is paying for the meals of workers at local hospitals, many of which are at or nearing capacity as they care for people dealing with COVID-19.

Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital announced Tuesday that it has 450 COVID-19 patients across its eight hospitals, with an additional 185 people awaiting test results.
