ALLEN PARK -- Matthew Stafford and Ndamukong Suh were top-two overall picks in back-to-back Lions drafts in 2008 and 2009. They played together as two of the stars keying playoff appearances in 2011 and 2014.
Both got paid record deals, Stafford with the Lions and Suh with the Dolphins before leaving for the Rams. Somewhere along the way, Suh felt he found a better quarterback than the one he was originally paired with.
Suh posted on Instagram this week that Jared Goff is the best quarterback he's ever played with. It was direct and intentional, and some felt it undercut what Stafford has done over his nine years in the league.
