Matthew Stafford banged up after turning in his worst game since 2012

DETROIT -- Let's start with the good news, shall we? Anyone who watched that Lions debut surely needs it.

Matthew Stafford says he'll be OK after suffering a pair of injuries in Detroit's 48-17 loss on Monday night against the Jets. He hurt his leg when he was drilled on a first-quarter pass, then briefly left the game in the third quarter when he was hit twice on the same throw.

"I'm not going to talk too much about it," he said in a press conference after the game. "Just was having a tough time there for a second, but started to feel a little bit better and you know, those guys were fighting tooth and nail out there and I was going to be out there with them.
