Last week, the University of Georgia announced Matthew Stafford and his wife Kelly donated $350,000 to their new social justice initiatives.
But on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” Friday morning, Matthew Stafford announced the donation was actually much, much more than that. In fact, it was over four times that.
Stafford and “Good Morning Football” announced that he and his wife are donating a total of $1.5 million to his former university for social justice programs and scholarships.
“I’ve done quite a bit of work in the Detroit area, and hadn’t really hit some other areas that were big parts of our lives,” Stafford said Friday morning.
