Man accepts plea deal in hazing case involving ex-Lion Chris Spielman's son

WHEATON, IL. -- A third man involved in a hazing case has accepted the same plea bargain and sentence that the son of former Detroit Lion Chris Spielman also accepted.

According to the Associated Press, Samuel TeBos of Allendale, Michigan, pleaded guilty Tuesday to misdemeanor battery and was sentenced to one year of conditional discharge and ordered to complete 100 hours of community service.

TeBos is a co-defendant in the case, along with Noah Spielman and Kyler Kregel. Noah Spielman accepted the same deal in March, and Kregel accepted the deal last month.

The men were charged with aggravated battery, mob action and unlawful restraint for allegedly hazing a teammate by duct-taping his hands and feet and attempting to sodomize him with an object before they left him in an off-campus park while half-naked.
