Live updates: Saints cut Lions lead to 14-7 with 3:08 left in 1Q

Lions offense stumped late in first quarter, punt for first time today

The Lions take over at their own 21 after a return by Jamal Agnew.

Matthew Stafford's first-down throw to T.J. Hockenson is a touch too far, though the second-year tight end would argue that he was interfered with. Stafford is right on the money with a second-down throw to D'Andre Swift for a 14-yard connection that'll make it first-and-10 at the 36.

Swift gets it on the next play, busting it to the left side for a gain of 7. A quick throw to Kenny Golladay on second down is broken up by Patrick Robinson.
