Late in the first quarter, it looked like the Bears were on the verge of a touchdown of their own. However, Lions cornerback Nevin Lawson and safety James Ihedigbo had different plans. Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler threw to the right corner of the end zone, where receiver Cameron Meredith and Lawson were tangled up. Lawson tipped the pass into Ihedigbo's hands, for the interception. With 2:22 left in the first, the Lions lead 7-0.
