The Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons decided to mutually end their preseason bout against one another early on Friday night after an apparent head/neck injury to DB Morice Norris resulted in the player being transported by ambulance out of the Falcons' stadium.
Norris, an undrafted free agent rookie coming on to the Lions this offseason to fight for a roster spot, went down in the second half after colliding with a Falcons player's helmet. He was immediately tended to by staff on both sides of the field as Detroit and Atlanta players kneeled and prayed over Norris.
