The Detroit Lions announced Monday that they’ve signed OT Arturo Uzdavinis to a contract and placed OT Pierce Burton on waivers.
Burton, 25, wound up signing on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi back in 2014. He lasted just a few months in Minnesota before he was among their roster cuts at the start of the season.
Burton had brief stints with the Falcons and Panthers before signing a future/reserve contract with the Colts in January. Unfortunately, Indianapolis elected to waive him back in March to make room for TE Mike McFarland.
