The Lions placed Jordan Thompson on the waived/injured list and officially made three other transactions.
The Detroit Lions officially made four roster moves today according to the league transaction wire. In addition to the signing of Deon Butler reported earlier in the day, the Lions also reportedly placed Jordan Thompson on the waived/injured list, officially cut Taylor Mays and waived Jarred Haggins.
Thompson suffered what Jim Caldwell called a "significant" knee injury during the preseason game against the Washington Redskins on Thursday.
