Can the Detroit Lions make the playoffs? Yeah, sure. Mathematically, it’s more than possible. Technically an 11-6 season is still in play, and that would be more than enough for the Lions to punch their first postseason ticket since 2016.
That, obviously, seems like a long-shot, though. Detroit may be on a two-game winning streak, but they got by in both games by the skin of their teeth to win against teams with a collective 7-14 record. If they’re going to convince doubters that they have a legitimate shot at the postseason, they need a better resume than that.
