Lions TE Hunter Bryant returns to practice; team makes practice squad tweaks

The Detroit Lions kicked off this week of practice with a couple of notable roster moves. Above everything else, undrafted rookie tight end Hunter Bryant returned to practice, activating his 21-day window in which he can either be placed back on the 53-man roster or placed on season-ending injured reserve.

Bryant is currently on the short-term IR after suffering a concussion. He has yet to make his NFL debut, but he was a standout during training camp and appeared to be headed for some role on offense after initially making the 53-man roster. For now, the Lions have T.
