General manager Bob Quinn began to build up the Lions’ 90-man offseason roster over the last month, and continued to do so Friday with the signing of veteran offensive tackle Lamar Holmes.
The Falcons took Holmes, 26, in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft out of Southern Mississippi.
The 6-foot-3, 333-pound tackle played in 21 games with 19 starts on both the left and right sides from 2012-2014.
Holmes suffered foot injuries in 2012 and 2014. He was in the final year of his four-year, $2.
