Lions sign Corey Fuller to practice squad

ALLEN PARK -- Corey Fuller wasn't out of work for long.

The former Detroit Lions receiver was signed to the practice squad Wednesday night, just one day after he was cut from the 53-man roster. That means Detroit is now using three of its 10 practice-squad slots on receivers, along with TJ Jones and Jace Billingsley.

Fuller began the year on the physically unable to perform list. He was activated to the 53-man roster two weeks ago, but the Lions cut him this week to make room for the signing of quarterback Jake Rudock.
