Lions shuffle roster to prepare for facing Aaron Rodgers and the Packers

The Lions have had a banged-up secondary practicing all week for Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. On Saturday, they decided to give it more help.

They promoted cornerback Crevon Le'Blanc to the active roster and cut tight end Hakeem Valles to make room.

They also signed cornerback Dee Virgin to the practice squad after cutting safety Rolan Milligan to create the space.

Detroit was expected to cut Valles to make room for some defensive back help after it named a number of players as questionable for Sunday's matchup against Rodgers and the Packers, from safety Quandre Diggs (hand) to safety Tracy Walker (ankle) to safety Tavon Wilson (back) to cornerback Nevin Lawson (illness).
