Now that we’ve had a little time to digest the Lions’ 2019 schedule (and the schedules of every other team) here are some quick thoughts on the season ahead:
September ain't easy
The Lions don’t have one of the tougher schedules in the NFL, but they do have a pretty challenging September. The Arizona Cardinals in Week 1 are a beatable team, with a new coach and potentially a rookie at quarterback, but the rest of the month looks like a bear.
The Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers are arguably the toughest teams on the Lions schedule, and both come to town in September (in Week 4 and 2, respectively).
