“We will be better.” That’s the promise safety Duron Harmon is making after a gut-wrenching loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
The Detroit Lions’ 2019 fourth-quarter woes continued into this season as they squandered a 23-6 lead into the third quarter and lost 27-23.
While this offseason the offense coined the term “dagger time” to emphasize closing games the right way, Harmon said making those big stops late in the game matters on the other side of the ball as well.
“We just didn’t finish. We gotta finish. We talk about being a good football team and if you don’t finish, it doesn’t matter.
