No Detroit Lions were officially cut of Friday according to the NFL’s transaction wire, but it appears the team has started making moves. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Lions are waiving wide receiver Chris Lacy.
The move doesn’t come as that big of a surprise considering the team waived Lacy back on August 9 before re-signing him two weeks later. A former Oklahoma State standout, Lacy first joined the Lions during the 2018 offseason. Though he didn’t make the initial roster, he spent most the season on the practice squad.
