For those Lions fans out there looking to buy their new Taylor Decker jersey, it’s coming to a store near you very soon.
Decker will officially wear No. 68 for the Lions, the same number he wore at Ohio State the last four seasons.
Decker was a three-year starter for the Buckeyes and played in 54 games with 42 starts for a team that went 50-4 during his four years (2012-15).
The Lions made Decker their first selection in last week’s NFL Draft with the 16th overall pick.
“He’s a guy that checks off all the boxes for us, toughness, athleticism, size, intelligence,” head coach Jim Caldwell said of Decker.
