ALLEN PARK -- One day after the Lions allowed two Bears wide receivers to go for 100 yards and at least one touchdown on them, they are releasing one of their cornerbacks.
It just isn't one who played a snap for the defense.
Detroit waived cornerback Lenzy Pipkins on Monday. He was active the past two games as a reserve cornerback options amid injuries in the secondary, though all of his 18 snaps came on special teams.
At least for now, the Lions are continuing to roll with the secondary they have, as much as it has struggled as of late.
