Allen Park — Ameer Abdullah doesn't know what the future holds, but the Detroit Lions running back is at peace with the process.
The team's starting running back to begin last season, Abdullah's path to a roster spot in Detroit is clouded following the offseason additions of LeGarrette Blount and Kerryon Johnson. But the decision won't be up to Abdullah and he's content subscribing to the mantra of controlling what's within his control.
"It's talk," Abdullah said. "Just talk. ...You can't worry about the next day, you have to worry about the day you have right now.
